Chappell Named Finalist for 20th Judicial District Criminal Judgeship

The state’s Trial Court Vacancy Commission selected Cindy Chappell as one of three finalists to assume a judgeship in the 20th Judicial District Criminal Court, which serves Davidson County.  Chappell was chosen out of a field of seven after an application process followed by a public hearing and vote by the Commission.  Her name will be submitted to Governor Bill Haslam, who will make the final appointment from among the three selected candidates.
